July 23rd will be AirlineReporter’s seventh birthday. Thinking back on all the words, miles, people, and good times, it is amazing where we are today. We have a wonderful team of passionate, wonderful folks who have helped us grow in ways that I never knew imagined. I have loved (most) of it, and am so excited that you could be a part of this journey.
This enterprise started as a hobby and then morphed itself into a second job — one that really doesn’t pay. During all the changes and travel, I still held a full-time job (which did not even relate to aviation). Recently, I made a pretty big leap and took a new job, which I love, that is only part-time. This leaves me with some much-needed hours in the day to help AirlineReporter grow, but we could use your help.
Throughout the years, we have been mindful to slowly grow our readership. Yes, big numbers can be impressive and important, but they only go so far. We now have an impactful number of readers, and they’re those who care and are engaged. But how to use our brand, in a meaningful way, to grow?
We have some pretty grand ideas and are excited about what is coming next, but I know that many of you have notable backgrounds and ideas. Some have created your own businesses, while others are leaders in your field. I have found that one of the best things to help AirlineReporter grow has been getting advice from a number of different people. I would love to hear thoughts and ideas from you!
I don’t want to go the route of spamming the site with ads, or doing things that make us feel “ew.” I think, with the AirlineReporter brand, we could look at other ways to take what we have and create new opportunities, while still increasing the level and quality of content that we provide.
If you have thoughts or ideas, please email me at da***@ai*************.com. Of course, confidentiality is promised, if needed (although, I am not sure what that would entail, but now I am intrigued).
Thanks again for all your support and readership — we couldn’t do it without you!
Short and simple, and a very clear illustration of the pride you have for this great community we’ve built. I’m so honored to be part of the team. Excited to see how we evolve in the coming years.

Glad to have you on the team!

Start an airline! Actually, don’t. Invest a billion, leave with a million.
So, if I invest $100, does that become $10? 🙂

If you’re lucky…

Congratulations on a job very well done. AIrlineReporter.com is indeed, unique. No just ads, just great and very interesting stories. Take care, my friend and continued successes

Thanks Jim for reading and contributing some of your background!

I don’t comment much, but when I do, I prefer AirlineReporter.com…
In all seriousness though, great job with the website. It’s always been a pleasure coming online to check out all the new articles. In a field that has a (relatively) small group of active websites, this one is a gem that I look forward to reading, time and time again.
Best regards,
Daniel
Thanks Daniel for the comment and for reading!
