Good Luck!
You ready for it? There are quite a few new readers since my last Ultimate Livery Challenge, so welcome and game on. One of my favorite things about following the airline biz is checking out all the airline liveries. Some are great and others are very lame. This is used to test your skills in knowing your liveries (or knowing how to research airlines via google).
Once again, there will be prizes. I got some new AirlineReporter.com stickers and if you get these all right (or have the most right) you are going to get some sweet stickers. Plus, you get total bragging rights and a shout out on the answer blog. Here are the rules:
* Email me (da***@ai*************.com) the airline of each livery
* Unlike previous challenges you do not need to tell me the plane type. However, if you get all the liveries AND the plane types, there might be another special prize for you.
* Have fun! If you only know a few, still let me know. If no one gets them all, you could still win. If you have questions, ask them in the comments, but don’t post your answers there.
* You have until Friday October 1 at 5pm PST. Answers will be posted the following Monday.
I thought I made the first challenge difficult, but eight of you got it right. Then I made the second one even more difficult, but still six got them right. This one is by far the most difficult one I have created and I am hoping I can stump you all. I will be greatly impressed with anyone who can come close!
As always, photo credit will be given with the answers. Good luck!

Santa Barbara Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (YV153T)
Santa Barbara Airlines (or SBA Airlines) is based in Caracas, Venezuela. It was founded in November 1995 and is based out of the Simón Bolàvar International Airport. They have a fleet of about 20 aircraft ranging from the ATR 42 to the Boeing 767-300ER. They fly mostly in South America, but do have a flight to Miami, Portugal and Spain.
Their current livery fills the aircraft up a bit more than their previous one. They also promote going by “SBA” versus their full name of Santa Barbara Airlines.

Oasis Hong Kong Airlines Boeing 747-400 ( B-LFC) at Vancouver
Oasis Hong Kong Airlines used five Boeing 747-400’s to provide low-cost service from Hong Kong to London and Vancouver, but it didn’t work out for them.
The problems they encountered during the first flight, should have been weary. The airline’s first flight back in October 2006 had its fly-over rights pulled by Russia just an hour before take off. This caused the flight to be delayed for 24 hours…not a good start.
The airline’s low fares were popular, but they weren’t enough to cover their costs. In April 2008, the airline went under.
One of the cool things about it going under is there are quite a few cool pictures of four of the Boeing 747-400’s hanging out together.
The livery is nothing too special, but I think it works. Big writing with the name going down the side of the aircraft and the tail looks like a party.

US Airways Airbus A319 (N717UW) in Panthers Livery
Go Panthers! Or at least go US Airways Airbus A319 Panthers. US Airways also flies Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles liveries representing the cities with US Airways hubs. The football season just started, so a great way to celebrate. Although I enjoy watching football-themed liveries more than the game itself.
UPDATE: How could I forget the US Airways A319 dressed as a Cardinal?! Thanks @TaylorMcManus for pointing that out!
I really like the Panther livery with the color, but it just looks odd that the panther is not on the tail, instead there is small writing.
Thanks Drew V for sending over this photo!

Allegiant Airlines Boeing 757 (N901NV) with full livery
A while back I was able to get a hold of a photo of a Boeing 757 with only the winglet painted with Allegiant Livery. Today I was sent a photo of the whole (ok, minus the nose) plane decked out in Allegiant livery.
As reported previously, Allegiant is looking to fly the planes to destinations in Hawaii. To date, they have not announced where they will fly.
I do not know when or where this photo was taken, but I do know the Allegiant livery looks dang good on a Boeing 757 in my opinion.
