Our Airline Boeing 737-300 (VH-INU)
Whose airline? Our Airline. I feel there has to be some Abbott and Costello like joke in this airline’s name somewhere.
Our Airline was founded in 1970 as Air Nauru using a chartered Dassault Falcon 20. Due to their initial success, the airline started schedule flights in 1972 using a Fokker F28
In 2006, the airline had a name change to Our Airline during their relaunch in October of that year. The airline is based at Nauru International Airport and today has a fleet of only two Boeing 737-300s. On top of operating scheduled services, the airline also wet leases their 737s to Norfolk Air, Air Kiribati and other cargo and charter services.
The livery looks clean and it works. I only wish they might have used a different font type, since it is a little too wavy for my taste.

Three will enter, one will leave. Where once there was Virgin Blue who operated domestic flights with in Australia and then V Australia and Pacific Blue for international, there will only one: Virgin Australia.
“From today, Virgin Australia will operate domestically in Australia,” Virgin Australia Airlines’ first ever CEO John Borghetti said. “By the end of the year, our international product V Australia and Pacific Blue will also operate under the Virgin Australia name.”
This new livery looks slick and is closest to the old V Australia livery, which I have been a fan of. I have no sad feelings seeing the Pacific Blue and Virgin Blue livery disappear. I have never been a fan of the red, red, red livery.
CAMAIR-CO Boeing 767-300ER (TJ-CAC)
Cameroon Airlines Corporation (CAMAIR-Co) is a brand new, yet old airline that just started service last month in Africa.
Camair Version 1.0 was founded in 1971 and was headquartered out of Douala, Cameroon. The airline was owned 96.43% by the Cameroon Government and 3.57% by Air France. The airline had difficulty and stopped service in 2008.
Camair Version 2.0 was founded in 2006 before version 1.0 officially went under, but never started operations. The first flight of the new Camair just occurred on March 28, 2011 from Douala to Paris. Camair currently has a fleet of one Boeing 767-300 ER (TJ-CAC) and one Boeing 737-700.
The new airline was created by a decree of the President and he hopes it becomes an inspiration to other airlines in Africa. The new airline has a much cleaner livery than the old Camair livery. Although I am a fan of the classic cheat-line look, the Euro-white body with colorful tail always looks good.

Air Greenland Airbus A330 (OY-GRN)
If I had to choose a color to represent the country of Greenland, red sure would not be it. If I had to choose a color to show up against the snow in Greenland, well… I might choose red. The airline Air Greenland has been around in 1960 and is a joint operation between the government of Greenland and the SAS group.
The have a unique fleet of aircraft: Airbus A330, Dash-7, Dash-8, Super King Air, S-61 and Bell 212. How awesome would it be to arrive in an Airbus A330 before swithing over to a Bell 212 — not too many airlines you can do that with.
The airline serves the vast land area and remote villages of Greenland as well as providing ambulance and other charter flights. In 2010 Air Greeland flew more than 427,000 passengers.

Although not as flashy or grandiose as some more colorful liveries, US Airways is still transitioning to brightening their fleet from the blue top/grey bottom to a bright white top and blue bottom (with blue tail). The flag icon takes center stage on the tail with a bit of wispy lines drifting back along the fuselage. Gone are the red Air Wisconsin and teal America West colors in favor of a red white and blue themed livery consistent with the airline name.
In addition to the standard livery, US Airways has introduced some retro-themed liveries in former merger/acquisitions PSA Airlines, Piedmont Airlines and Allegheny Air as well as NFL teams from its hubs (Charlotte, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia).
But don’t let the name fool you, US Airways also has flights direct from its Philadelphia and Charlotte hubs for points South to Central America and the Caribbean, and East to Europe with one direct to Tel Aviv (from Philly).
